Product Description

The Feline Anemia Pathogen Panel (4-Plex) qPCR Kit (FVPC401) is a rapid molecular testing reagent designed for the detection of four feline pathogen nucleic acid targets associated with feline anemia and related infectious disease research.

The panel targets Bartonella henselae, hemotropic Mycoplasma, Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) using fresh EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood samples.

Based on rapid PCR and real-time fluorescence detection technology, PC401 provides a streamlined workflow for veterinary molecular research and feline infectious disease studies.

The kit uses a lyophilized PCR reagent format together with lysis and reconstitution solutions for rapid sample preparation.

For Veterinary Research Use Only. Not for use in human or animal clinical diagnosis, treatment, or prevention.

Sample Type

Fresh EDTA-Anticoagulated Whole Blood

PC401 uses fresh EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood as the sample type.

Sample Preparation

  1. Collect fresh      EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood.

  2. Transfer 20      μL whole blood into the lysis buffer.

  3. Vortex for 30      seconds.

  4. Transfer 20      μL processed sample into the reconstitution solution.

  5. Vortex for 10      seconds.

  6. Use the      processed sample as the PCR template.

The sample preparation procedure follows the supplied PC401 instructions.

 Simple & Rapid PCR Workflow

Step 1 – Blood Sample Collection

Collect fresh EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood.

Step 2 – Sample Lysis

Add 20 μL blood sample to the lysis buffer and vortex for 30 seconds.

Step 3 – Reconstitution

Transfer 20 μL processed sample to the reconstitution solution.

Step 4 – PCR Setup

Transfer 20 μL processed sample to the lyophilized PCR reagent.

Step 5 – Real-Time Fluorescence PCR

Run the FVPC401 PCR program.

Step 6 – Result Analysis

Analyze fluorescence amplification curves and Ct values.
