Anal Swab Sample Testing
The product instructions specify anal swabs as the sample type.
The sample preparation workflow includes:
Collect an anal swab using a new flocked swab.
Place the swab head into the lysis solution.
Vortex for 30 seconds.
Transfer 20 μL of processed sample into the reconstitution solution.
Vortex for 10 seconds.
Transfer 20 μL into the lyophilized PCR reagent.
Run the fluorescence PCR program.
Each kit contains:

The specified storage condition is 0–20°C, with a 12-month shelf life.
The PC201 assay uses:
55°C for 5 minutes → 95°C for 2 minutes → 95°C for 10 seconds / 58°C for 15 seconds × 40 cycles
Fluorescence is collected during amplification.
Ct-Based Result Interpretation
According to the product instructions:
Ct ≤ 36.0 = Positive
Ct > 36.0 = Negative
If the positive and negative controls do not meet the specified conditions, the test result is considered invalid and testing should be repeated.
